Controlled assessment practise planning day 1
Text can be creative by the aberrations and the way the way we text in several different languages eg:slang.
Aberrations are used in text to make the text a lot shorter then if you used standard english texting language. But some people use aberrations for all different textiles and they shorten certain words.
Some aberrations are: Yolo=you only live once
Smk=smoke
Lol=lots of love/Lough out loud depends on the way it is used
Kl=cool
Wuu2=what you up to
CBA=can’t be asked
Brb=be right back
G2G =got to go
Babe=babe
Bby=baby
All these are just some example of aberrations and most of all of them are used in almost every type of texting language there is..
Some of these ate texting languages:

This demonstrates that you understand the function of abbreviations and also have a clear sense of the range of possibilities there. The next step is for you to think about whether these abbreviations add something to the conversation beyond simply making the typing shorter – do you think that in a way they are like accent or slang in speaking – in that they are representative of a certain group of people and sometimes only understood by that group.

Your planning looks good so far. I’m very happy with the progress you’re making.
My advice is for you to write for yourself a starting sentence for each of the paragraphs that you’ve planned. This will help you practice the writing part of the assessment.
If you do that on here, I’ll give you feedback straight away.

Your paragraph starters are good and clear – though I urge you to be very careful spelling the specialised terms, like abbreviation. I suggest you write some of these correctly on your planning sheet tomorrow so that you have them at hand during the assessment.
I also think some of your intro sentences could be further developed. For example, they could sound a little more like you are trying to convince the reader of your position:
You wrote:
I suggest you develop it like this:
Can you see the difference? Could you list the differences you detect between your opening and mine? (I’m quite confident that you could write openings just like mine)
Have a go, and I’ll give you some feedback.
